Digital Weeds
2014
Mixed Media
Width: 38cm Height: 34cm Depth: 30cm

This old computer screen has come to life after centuries of neglect. I hope that this is what digital evolution would look like!

The flower petals are cut from CDs and have been heat-moulded for a more organic feel. The stems and roots are hot glue painted chrome with fragments of motherboards inlaid into them. The humming bird is made from CD shards and wire mesh.
